December is here; and she brings whispers of chilly weather, warm gatherings and an atmosphere of celebration. "Peace" will be will be wished freely from person to person. But for many, peace will be the last possible thing to be felt. Disappointment -- not "I can't find those shoes" disappointment, but raw, ugly, painful disappointment -- it doesn't care if it's Christmas, if you are seeing family for the first time in a year, if you're under work pressure or if finances add to the tightness in your chest during this season. It doesn't care. Your December might not be "the most wonderful time of the year."
But no matter how daunting, there is still some good in this world; and it is worth fighting for. Maybe the bad feels overwhelming and the good feels sparse; but even that spars good is worth fighting for. From little things like bright lights, to big things like showing the hearts who are watching that the uncomfortable days/weeks/months are conquerable! There is good worth fighting for this season. For you. For her. For him. I'll keep looking and fighting with you!
Merry Christmas, my beautiful friends! Enjoy these free wallpapers, and let them remind you each time you look at them that there is still good in this world.
