September is here, and all throughout the world people are singing about it. Starbucks has their salted caramel drinks back (yay!) and everywhere - except for Florida - is getting whisperings and glimpses into the hope of Fall's arrival.
That being said, I just couldn't give into the full Fall festivities - not yet! You know October's wallpapers will be saturated with all the lovely things Fall brings. But since my corner of the world is not yet turning red and yellow and chilled, I decided to transition into this coming season slowly on my wallpapers, too. (I always celebrate Fall too early in my heart and then am terribly disappointed when I don't see it unfolding around me, so I'm choosing to build the anticipation this year.)
However! I did choose some elements with a Fall-esque air. Color-wise, I went with a blush peach (a softer version of Autumn's orange). You'll notice inside of the flower bouquet there are two feathers -- another little hint of Fall.
And! DA DA-DA DA! I'm releasing desktop wallpapers! I've made these for myself and a few select insiders for a while, but I decided - in the excitement of new seasons - to make one for you guys, too! (Let's be honest, life just feels a little more put together when your phone and laptop coordinate).
This month's quote comes from Eleanor Roosevelt:
“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
These are words that have been with me at every life decision recently, and they have helped me to see how much of a strong, capable, fearless woman I am. I'm able to, not only endure but, thrive in circumstances and seasons of which I previously thought was not possible. And I love who I am now because of it. I have a feeling you will, too. What is the thing you think you cannot do? Do it. Then do the next one, then the next one. One day you'll look back at yourself, and you'll barely recognize the incredible human you have become. It is almost addicting. (; Rooting for you! Xo
